Learn some ways to rethink how your libraries can help build community while also offering enhanced patron experiences. You will hear from librarians, architects, and contractors about the steps of designing and building a Library Innovation Center that will offer a makerspace, recording studio, interactive children’s displays, events spaces, and multiple innovation rooms to promote lifelong learning and workforce development.

  • Apply knowledge gained to coordinate a successful building project.
  • Learn how to work effectively with contractors, architects, and owner's representatives.
