Library Collections are a direct reflection of what a school values and believes about the students in their learning community. What story does your collection tell? Is it a single story? Is it becoming a more diverse story? Join us to see what story your shelves are telling! Library Management Systems, like Destiny and Mackin, provide diversity reports so that we can better evaluate how our learning communities are represented on our shelves. Looking at your school demographics and comparing them against your collection statistics can be very telling. This will be a time for you to explore your school demographics and your diversity report through a guided activity. Completely hands on workshop. Just bring your diversity report and a willingness to roll up your sleeves and get nerdy with the numbers!
